In August of 2008, I moved with my boyfriend to Gangneung, a small city on the eastern coast of South Korea. I teach English in a public school of more than 1000 middle school boys. I am a huge fan of bathhouses, gamja tang and teaching in sandals. I am really, really sick of kimchi. This blog was created to help me keep in touch with my family and friends at home and abroad, and to provide some advice and information to other would-be teachers considering the same route.
